Data Protection Declaration

We take data protection seriously

The protection of your privacy when processing personal data is an important concern for us. When you visit our website, our web servers save the IP of your internet service provider, the website from which you visit us, the web pages you visit on our website and the date and duration of your visit as standard. This information is absolutely necessary for the technical transmission of the web pages and secure server operation. A personalised evaluation of this data does not take place.

Controller

F.EE is the Controller responsible for the processing of your data.
Our contact details are as follows:

All interested parties and visitors to our website can reach our data protection officer at: datenschutz@fee.de

Personal Data

Personal data is data about your person. This includes your name, address and e-mail address. You also do not have to disclose any personal data in order to visit our website. In some cases, we need your name and address as well as other information in order to be able to offer you the requested service.

The same applies if we supply you with information material on request or if we answer your enquiries. In these cases we will always point this out to you. In addition, we only store the data that you have provided to us automatically or voluntarily.

When you use one of our services, we generally only collect the data that is necessary to provide you with our service. We may ask you for further information, but this is voluntary. Whenever we process personal data, we do so in order to provide you with our service or to pursue our commercial objectives.

Contact

When contacting us (e.g. via contact form, email, telephone or via social media), the information provided by the person making the enquiry is processed to the extent necessary to respond to the contact enquiries and any measures requested. The response to contact enquiries in the context of contractual or pre-contractual relationships is carried out to fulfil our contractual obligations or to respond to (pre-)contractual enquiries and otherwise on the basis of the legitimate interests in responding to the enquiries.

  • Types of data processed: inventory data (e.g. names, addresses), contact data (e.g. e-mail, telephone numbers), content data (e.g. entries in online forms).
  • Data subjects: Communication partners.
  • Purposes of processing: contact requests and communication.
  • Legal basis: Contract performance and pre-contractual enquiries (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b. DSGVO), Legitimate Interests (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f. DSGVO).

Automatically stored data

Server log files

The provider of the pages automatically collects and stores information in so-called server log files, which your browser automatically transmits to us. These are:

  • Date and time of the request
  • Name of the requested file
  • Page from which the file was requested
  • Access status (file transferred, file not found, etc.)
  • used Web browser and operating system
  • complete IP address of the requesting computer
  • amount of data transferred

This data is not merged with other data sources. The processing is carried out in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f DSGVO on the basis of our legitimate interest in improving the stability and functionality of our website. For reasons of technical security, in particular to defend against attempted attacks on our web server, we store this data for a short period of time. It is not possible for us to draw conclusions about individual persons on the basis of this data. After seven days at the latest, the data is anonymised by shortening the IP address at domain level, so that it is no longer possible to establish a link to the individual user. The data is also processed in anonymised form for statistical purposes; it is not compared with other data or passed on to third parties, even in extracts.

Cookies

When you visit our website, we may store information on your computer in the form of cookies. Many cookies contain a so-called cookie ID. A cookie ID is a unique identifier of the cookie. It consists of a string of characters by which Internet pages and servers can be assigned to the specific Internet browser in which the cookie was stored. This enables the visited Internet pages and servers to distinguish the individual browser of the data subject from other Internet browsers that contain other cookies. A specific internet browser can be recognised and identified via the unique cookie ID.

Through the use of session cookies, the controller can provide the users of this website with more user-friendly services that would not be possible without the cookie setting. Without consent, we only use technically necessary cookies on the legal basis of legitimate interest pursuant to Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. f DSGVO.

We only use personal cookies to improve our website or for marketing/advertising purposes with your consent. On your first visit, you can voluntarily agree to tracking or analysis via the cookie banner that appears. Your data may be passed on to partners or third-party providers. These cookies will only be stored if you explicitly agree to this; the legal basis is then your consent in accordance with Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. a DSGVO.

Google Analytics

Google Analytics This website uses functions of the web analysis service Google Analytics. The provider is Google Ireland Limited ("Google"), Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. Google Analytics enables the website operator to analyse the behaviour of website visitors. In doing so, the website operator receives various usage data, such as page views, length of stay, operating systems used and the origin of the user. This data may be summarised by Google in a profile that is assigned to the respective user or their end device.

Furthermore, Google Analytics may record your mouse and scroll movements and clicks, among other things. Furthermore, Google Analytics uses various modelling approaches to supplement the collected data sets and uses machine learning technologies in the data analysis.

Google Analytics uses technologies that enable the recognition of the user for the purpose of analysing user behaviour (e.g. cookies or device fingerprinting). The information collected by Google about the use of this website is usually transferred to a Google server in the USA and stored there. The use of this analysis tool is based on your consent of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a DSGVO. The consent can be revoked at any time. The data transfer to the USA is based on the standard contractual clauses of the EU Commission. Details can be found here: https://privacy.google.com/businesses/controllerterms/mccs/.

IP anonymization

We have activated the IP anonymisation function on this website. This means that your IP address is shortened by Google within member states of the European Union or in other contracting states of the Agreement on the European Economic Area before being transmitted to the USA. Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be transmitted to a Google server in the USA and shortened there. On behalf of the operator of this website, Google will use this information for the purpose of evaluating your use of the website, compiling reports on website activity and providing other services relating to website activity and internet usage to the website operator. The IP address transmitted by your browser as part of Google Analytics will not be merged with other Google data.

Browser-Plug-In

You can prevent the collection and processing of your data by Google by downloading and installing the browser plug-in available at the following link: https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=de. You can find more information on how Google Analytics handles user data in Google's privacy policy: https://support.google.com/analytics/answer/6004245?hl=de.

Storage duration

Data stored by Google at user and event level that is linked to cookies, user identifiers (e.g. User ID) or advertising IDs (e.g. DoubleClick cookies, Android advertising ID) is anonymised or deleted after 2 months. Details can be found under the following link: https://support.google.com/analytics/answer/7667196?hl=de.

Ipfify / Determination of public IP address

When you use our website, your public IP address is determined via the service https://geo.ipify.org. Your IP address is transmitted anonymously to the service. Your IP address is transmitted anonymously to the service, so no personal data is processed.

Google Tag Manager

This website uses Google Tag Manager. The Tag Manager does not collect any personal data. The tool triggers other tags, which in turn may collect data. Google Tag Manager does not access this data. If a deactivation has been made at domain or cookie level, this remains in place for all tracking tags implemented with Google Tag Manager. Google's privacy policy for this tool can be found here: https://www.google.com/analytics/terms/tag-manage.

Google Maps

For the visual presentation of geographical information, Google Maps collects data about your use of the Maps functions, in particular the IP address and location data, transmits this data to Google and subsequently processes it. We have no influence on this subsequent data processing.

Newsletter

With the following information, we inform users about the contents of our newsletters as well as the registration, dispatch and statistical evaluation procedure and your rights of objection. By subscribing to our newsletters, users agree to receive them and to the procedures described. We send newsletters, e-mails and other electronic notifications with promotional information (hereinafter "newsletter") only with the consent of the recipients or a legal permission. If the contents of the Newsletter are specifically described in the course of registration, they are decisive for the consent of the users. Apart from that, our newsletters contain information about us, our offers as well as news from the F.EE business areas and the industry.

Registration for our newsletter takes place in a so-called double opt-in procedure. This means that after registration you will receive an e-mail in which you are asked to confirm your registration. This confirmation is necessary so that no one can register with other people's e-mail addresses.

The administration and dispatch of the F.EE newsletter is carried out by CleverReach GmbH & Co. KG, Mühlenstr. 43, 26180 Rastede, and complies with the requirements of the European Data Protection Act. Furthermore, the CleverReach account is set up to be 100% data protection compliant. CleverReach does not use the data of our newsletter recipients to write to them itself or to pass them on to third parties. When registering for the newsletter, the following data is collected and transferred to CleverReach: e-mail address (mandatory field). We trust in the reliability and IT and data security of CleverReach. CleverReach undertakes to comply with EU data protection regulations. We have concluded an order data processing contract with CleverReach. This is a contract in which CleverReach undertakes to protect user data, to process it on our behalf in accordance with its data protection provisions and, in particular, not to pass it on to third parties.

Our newsletters sent with CleverReach enable us to analyse the behaviour of newsletter recipients.

Statistical collection: The data of the opening and clicking recipients are visible to F.EE in anonymised form. Furthermore, the IP addresses are also not collected and processed in full. F.EE can therefore not determine which individual person clicked on what in the newsletter.

Cancellation/revocation: Recipients can cancel the receipt of our newsletter at any time, i.e. revoke their consent. This also terminates their consent to the sending of the newsletter via CleverReach and the statistical analyses. Users will find a link to cancel the newsletter at the end of each newsletter.

Legal basis Data Protection Regulation

Data processing is based on your consent (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a DSGVO). You can revoke this consent at any time by unsubscribing from the newsletter. The legality of the data processing operations already carried out remains unaffected by the revocation.

Use of YouTube in extended data protection mode

We use the provider YouTube to embed videos. The videos were embedded in the extended data protection mode. Like most websites, however, YouTube also uses cookies to collect information about visitors to its website. YouTube uses these, among other things, to collect video statistics, to prevent fraud and to improve user-friendliness. This also leads to a connection with the Google DoubleClick network. When you start the video, this could trigger further data processing operations. We have no control over this. You can find more information about data protection at YouTube in their privacy policy at: http://www.youtube.com/t/privacy_at_youtube.

Safety

We have implemented technical and administrative security measures to protect your personal data against loss, destruction, manipulation and unauthorised access. All our employees as well as service providers working for us are bound by the applicable data protection laws.

Whenever we collect and process personal data, it is encrypted before it is transmitted. This means that your data cannot be misused by third parties. Our security measures are subject to a continuous improvement process and our data protection statements are constantly being revised. Please ensure that you have the latest version.

Application management

We collect different types of information as part of the application process. This includes in particular your personal data with contact information as well as a description of your education, work experience and skills. In addition, you have the option of providing us with electronically stored documents such as references or cover letters. We do not require any information from you that is not usable under the General Equal Treatment Act (race, ethnic origin, gender, religion or world view, disability, age or sexual identity). We also ask you not to provide information about illnesses, pregnancy, ethnic origin, political opinions, philosophical or religious beliefs, trade union membership, physical or mental health or sexual life. The same applies to content that could violate the rights of third parties (e.g. copyright, press law or general rights of third parties).

Personal data will only be collected, stored, processed and used for purposes related to your interest in current or future employment with us and the processing of your application. It will not be passed on to third parties. Data such as name, address, telephone number, e-mail address, etc. are collected for the use of the online application procedure. This data is basically used to contact you about your application. If your application is successful, the data provided may be used for administrative matters relating to employment. Your application will only be processed and noted by the relevant contact persons at our company. All employees entrusted with data processing are obliged to maintain the confidentiality of your data. Under no circumstances will third parties gain knowledge of your details. The processing of data takes place exclusively in Germany.

If we are unable to offer you employment, we will retain the data you have provided for up to six months within the framework of statutory retention periods for the purpose of answering questions in connection with your application and rejection. If you give us your explicit written consent to retain and store your data beyond this period, we may also consider you for future job offers. Otherwise, your application data will be completely deleted.

The complete data protection information pursuant to Art. 13 DSGVO for the processing of your data within the scope of the application process can be found here.
